Photo Weekend

It started on Saturday with pictures of my Hailey... then Tayla joined in...

And it ended with some shots of my beautiful niece, Lilly...


She is amazingly photogenic.

Be Honest

Even though my first official photo shoot wasn't supposed to be until tonight, I took several portraits this past weekend. My beautiful niece, Lauren turned 12 on 8/8/08. So I asked her if she would pose for a couple "It's-All-About-Me-Today" pictures. She makes such a great model. Her 80's fashion sense makes me love her even more!

I was also able to get in a few shots of my first-born. Hailey loves the camera

So here's the deal. I need you to tell me what you really think. Don't just comment, "Great picutres!" - Really tell me what you see. I need to know if you think they're as good as Sears.

Tonight's photo shoot has been moved to Wednesday, so I'll post those pictures Thursday. ;)

It's rolling around in my head....

Recently I had some professional portraits taken of myself just-for-fun. Then I went to view the proofs and check out the package prices. Ever since, I've been a little inspired...

Not just to take more pictures, but maybe to take pictures for other people and not charge them such an ungodly amount for the prints. Professional photography prices are out of control! Have you ever paid a photographer for crappy pictures? I just did that back in May.

So I'm on a soul-searching journey right now to decide if I want to invest in equipment, just use the amatuer equipment I have, actually create a business, just do it for my friends and family, or discard the whole notion. So, in the future, from time to time, maybe I will post some pictures for your honest reviews.
